In 1990 the Chevrolet Beretta was selected to be the official pace car of 74th Indianapolis 500.  GM made 3 convertible Beretta pace cars painted in yellow and teal.  These pace cars also had a custom built 3.4 L engines that cranked out a handsome 245 hp.  (Good enough for a 13 second 1/4 mile.)   General Motors also produced some special edition INDY pace car replicas, and my car is one of those replicas.  There were a total of only 1500 yellow INDY editions and 6000 teal editions produced.
