Quik and easy way to backup a DVD  using <font size=+2>Free</font> DVD Shrik with <font size=+2>Free</font>  DVD decrypter<BR>
with DVD Shrink  ( to rip just the main movie ) and DVD Decrypter ( to remove Copy Protection)

once these two programs are downloaded and installed on your computer ...<BR>
go to your My Documents folder and make a new folder  (if one is not already there) name it <B> My  Videos</B><BR>
a file of the DVD will be stored there...<BR><BR>

Then put the dvd in your DVD drive and open DVD Shrink<BR>
in this order ...click <BR>

1 - <B> <I> Open Disc</I></B> &nbsp; the movie will preview while loading<BR>
2 - <B> <I>Re-author </I></B>-  then drag Title1 over into the big box on the left<BR>
 &nbsp; &nbsp; this will bring just the main movie in to be burned<BR>
3 - <B> <I>Backup!</I></B><BR>
4 - <B>Select backup target: </B> - &nbsp; ISO  Image File and burn with DVD Decrypter&trade;<BR>

5 - <B>Select target image file:</B> &nbsp; C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Videos\TOY_STORY<BR>
 &nbsp; &nbsp; Click <B>OK</B> &nbsp; DVD Decrypter will open ...<BR><BR>

6 - Destination - &nbsp; Select the drive to write to ....<BR>
7 - select the <B>Write Speed </B> - <I>it is set at  MAX  by default - depending on your system don't be in a hurry </I> ( I like <font color=red>4X </font>)<BR>
 &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;  if writing to another drive continue... if not, here is where you remove the disc and put in the blank disc to burn to<BR>
8 - click the green arrow <img src=http://my.raex.com/~bovardpb/greenarrow.jpg> button<BR><BR>
walk away and let it burn !<BR><BR>


a target image file will be stored in the My Videos folder <BR>
if you want to come back again and burn the movie at again at a later time<BR>
this <U>does</U> take up a lot of space .. you may want to delete the files of the movie from the My Videos folder when finished<BR><BR>
