The area here is very blessed to have an extremely active geneological society. Its members work quite hard to help those who are interested in tracking down their roots and history.

The society maintains a library at 59 Third St., NE. The collection includes books from Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland, as well as much information from the surrounding counties - Carroll County was originally formed from Harrison, Columbiana, Jefferson, and Tuscarawas Counties. You may wish to call before coming into the library: (330)627-2094. Hours are M-F 9-5.

The society also publishes a newsletter, in which they post requests for family information.
