Ancient News - the Assassination of Caligula **** Full voice. Animated cartoon news team covers this event. Fantastic example of how to teach kids who don't like to read.

Pearl Harbor -***** National Geographic and SecondStory. IMHO, the best example so far of what Flash can do.

The Star Spangled Banner Smithsonian. There is also a test on the history of the flag, the song, and the war of 1812.

For example, I found the LookandFeel homepage, which uses very simple animation for an eyecatching efftect. Look around their site. There's more than just the splash page.
