Now that the house was pretty much undercover, we had to starting putting on the sheathing
so that the sides of the walls would have protection. We chose 1 inch extruded styrofoam
4'x 8' sheets as it offers greater insulation value and would be easier to manage and nail
to the walls.

Here are the first sheets being put on.
Using walls jack we were able to nail the sheets on to the wall without much difficulty and
only using two people. The hardest problem was trying to find the studs behind the sheets
to nail into. This is where a third person really helped out at times as they could tell
you which direction you had to go in order to nail into a stud.

Here is the sheathing almost done.
Even though the styrofoam sheets had a tongue and grove on them, they did not fit 100% tight
and there were a few places where 4' x 8' sheets would not fit, so you had to cut to size.
Due to these problems and also because we wanted to make sure that we would not have a drafty
house, we also wrapped the house in Tyvek.

Here is the first row of Tyvek being applied to the house.
Tyvek is a polymer based material that is paper thin but is actually quite tough. We have had
the Tyvek exposed to the weather now for about two months without any ripping or tearing. It
probably would have been really helpful on the roof with the exception that Tyvek is really slippery.
